The food is fresh, well prepared, and fully flavoured. This time we shared a seafood salad (pitch-perfect vinaigrette) and three pasta dishes, perfectly al dente, all with great tasting sauces (especially the puttanesca sauce which wasn’t even on the menu, but which they happily prepared for us nonetheless!). And the highlight was Janis, our waitress, who anticipated our every need and served us with a hospitality that made us feel like we were guests in her home.

Arrived at Prego – for a girlfriend’s birthday day dinner – seated with a smile and little joke from one of the waiters…..sat outside on the patio – on a beautiful evening.
Then the fine service began……Janis our waiter – could not have been more attentive, knowledgeable and fun. Explained the specials – and when we all decided on pasta – suggested the ‘family style’ so we could share…..and even created a puttanesca dish that was not on the menu. Shared a calamari/shrimp salad – which had plenty of calamari & shrimp & yummy dressing…then the 3 pastas & bread……..so delicious. Enjoyed our evening over wine & later coffee….with Janis providing just the right attention & fun.
We will return……
